EOTech XPS3
The EOTech XPS3 stands with the XPS2 as being the shortest of the optics the company currently produces. It's incredibly small light and compact design makes it ideal for saving space on the rail of your weapon. The one thing that sets the XPS3 apart from the XPS2 is it's night vision option. (The 3 and 2 in the respective model numbers represents the number of buttons on the optic. The third one being for night vision mode.) In addition to being made smaller by it's 123 Lithium battery it also gains an appreciable amount of battery life.

The EOTech XPS3
-runs on a single transverse 123 battery
-requires at most only 2 3/4 inches of rail as opposed to 4 inches for N battery models
-has superior sealing in the battery compartment due to eliminated cap and latch being replaced with simple o-ring
-no seperates battery compartment from base allowing it to hover over rifles delta ring
-has an average battery life of 500-600 hours at brightness level 12
